The month of March is all about getting ready – for spring break, fresh flowers, warmer weather and being outside! So, I’ve rounded up my favorite beauty, fashion and lifestyle items from this past month that have helped me prep for the springtime season.
Need to get tan ASAP? Step right up, because this is the best self-tanner I have ever used. And being pale, I’ve tried a lot of them – Jergens, Loreal, Tanning Towels, spray tans… You name it. This one is definitely on the pricier side, but I’ve never sworn by a self-tanner… And I do now!
My sister introduced me to this product and it’s completely foolproof even though it’s basically a spray tan in a bottle. Use the mitt to apply (maybe get your boyfriend or roommate to help with your back) and wait a few hours before rinsing it off. Voila! Perfect tan. *It’s not orangey, streaky, or fake looking either because of its green/olive undertones, AND it lasts a week!
I usually splurge on skincare, but not here because there’s simply no need to. This Cerave night cream works miracles! It’s light enough that it melts into your skin but moisturizing enough that you’ll wake up with a dewy glow. I also use the AM moisturizer during the day because it has SPF 30.
This perfume is spring in a bottle. I first tried an Aerin sample last fall and fell in love. If you’re into fresh florals, honeysuckle, or jasmine, you’ll die for this scent. I’ve linked the rollerball size too, just in case you want to test it out!
Not only are these an incredible steal ($18!!!), but also they’re the perfect mix of trendy and classic. The greenish mirrored lenses give a little funk to that classic club-master look and I’m loving the tortoise-shell rims. Must. Have.
Best. Leggings. Ever. They’re high-rise, don’t attract lint or fuzzies (or dog hair) and completely opaque. Bonus: that little Lululemon mark isn’t obnoxiously placed, making these leggings perfect for barre class or happy hour. These are definitely the most versatile (and comfortable) leggings I own and I wear them all the time – I should probably get another pair!
I do have a denim obsession so I’m a bit biased here, but this shirtdress is the easiest thing to throw on for just about anything. I’ve been wearing it to work or casual dinners with espadrilles or chunky sandals, but I think it’d also be cute with my Stan Smiths. I definitely recommend sizing down in this dress, too – it’s pretty loose to begin with. Oh, and it’s on sale!
To be honest, I actually “won” these shoes for free at a local Famous Footwear my Dad and I stumbled a few weeks ago (lol). While they’re definitely not the best workout shoe, I’m loving them for that casual athleisure look at a super reasonable price. They also come in a bunch of different colors, including both gray and black for you neutral-lovers out there!
Last summer when I was interning in New York I heard of this cute little shoe company called Soludos because all the fashion and market editors were wearing them. After getting my first pair, I can totally see why. These shoes are d a r l i n g and they go with absolutely everything! I found a pair like this from Nordstrom Rack for quite a steal, but they’re typically priced between $60-90. You’ve just got to look at their website because they have the most unique little espadrilles you’ll be wearing all summer long! I’ve currently got my eye on this embroidered flamingo pair 😉
As always, so appreciate your readership and I hope that this post was somewhat informative or, at the very least, a bit entertaining. Don’t forget to let me know what you’re loving lately and I hope your month is off to a great start!
P.S. have you seen my favorite spring jeans yet? Check ’em out here!
