It has been a serious minute, but I’m back, guys! And when I figure out that whole work/life balance thing, I’ll be sure to let you know (or if anyone has any tips, definitely send them my way).
In the meantime, I’m coming at ya live with a couple of festive, fun and cute dresses for the cold weather ahead. I’m very excited to be collaborating with Maggy London to bring you guys this post, mainly because (fun fact) I actually wore a Maggy London dress to a Homecoming dance one year in high school. Crazy, right?! It’s been an awesome experience working with their team and really just bringing this whole ‘fall dresses’ thing full circle.
The Samantha Wrap
This first dress, the Samantha Wrap, feels incredibly luxurious and looks like it, too. I’m loving the cinched waist (a flattering look on everyone) and the rich velvet gives a little extra glamour. I’d wear this dress on a fancy winter date night, to a work holiday party, and even Christmas Eve mass. I also like that the neckline isn’t too low cut because the fitted wrap style itself is pretty sexy!
As far as fit, I would definitely size down in this one! I ordered a 6 and it felt too big.
The Quinn Shift
This second dress gives off a different vibe than the first one as it’s more casual, but it’s equally chic. The Quinn Shift has the cutest crinkly flared sleeves and y’all know I love a fun sleeve detail. This shade of blue also looks pretty darn great on just about everyone.
I’d recommend sizing down in this one, too – I had a lot of extra fabric hangin’ out, especially in the mid-section. I’m wearing a 6 for reference!
